The Resources Department served as a centre where various materials acquired from outside SOMAFCO were kept. Thus, the department served as: a) the main store for educational equipment; stationary; books; material for the educational divisions; b) the main bulk stationary store for the complex, c) the store from which A|V equipment could be loaned\booked; a sound system, projectors, videos, tape recorders, etc. Requisitions made on behalf of the complex around the world were channeled through the Resources Department in collaboration with other relevant ANC structures.

 Scope and Contents

The Resources Department is comprised of .7 linear metres and two series: Correspondence and Subject Files

 Arrangement

The Correspondence series (.7 linear metres) spans the years 1982-1989. It reflects communications channels used by the officials of the ANC and donors relating to the requirements of the college.

The Subject Files series (.42 linear metres) spans the years 1980-1987. Like the above, this series documents activities dealing with resources pertaining to the well being of the SOMAFCO communities.
