African National Congress

Archives of the African National Congress

The University of Fort Hare Library is the home of the ANC Archives.
The bulk of the collection consists of the records of the ANC Foreign Missions.
The missions operated in 33 countries around the world.
Among the records are the correspondence of each mission, press-cuttings,
anti-apartheid posters, photographs, and audio-visual records of mission
activities.

When Thabo Mbeki was deputy president, he
made a speech at the opening of these archives.
